My name is Ali Ahmed. I'm the President of Pre-SCRIPT for the 2008-2009 session. I would like to welcome back all of the previous members, and extend an even bigger welcome to the new members of the society this year. I am currently a Junior here at UNM. I was born and raised here in Albuquerque. Some of my hobbies include playing basketball and mountain biking.
I am currently a senior at UNM. I would like to welcome everyone to Pre-S.C.R.I.P.T. It is an honor for me to represent you as Vice President of Pre-Pharmacy Society. I am energized and thrilled to be working with each and every one of you. Thank you for allowing me to represent you. I hope that I will be able to contribute in making this an enjoyable and memorable year for our members. Besides from pharmacy, on my spare time, I enjoy doing outdoor activities, painting, and hanging out with friends. Please feel free to contact any one of us at anytime if you have comments or feedbacks on how we can do our job better. Have fun everyone!!! I hope I will be able to see you guys at our events. You can personally contact me at rlvu@unm.edu.
Hi, my name is Marissa Salazar. I am the
secretary for the Pre-SCRIPT Society. I
am original from Chimayo, and I graduated
from Espanola Valley High School. This is
my second year here at UNM. A fun fact
about me is that I am a quarter
collector. Some hobbies that I like to do
when I do get time is fishing, camping
and spending lots of time with my family.
This is also my second year in Pre-SCRIPT
and I hope that everyone will get the
chance to experience all the great things
that this society has to offer.
Hey guys!
My name is Trung, and this is my second
year as the Pre-SCRIPT Historian. I was
born and raised in Houston, TX. and moved
to Albuquerque about two years ago.
Besides being a student trying to get
into the CoP, I like biking, working out,
and although I can't always put things
back together, I enjoy taking them apart
and finding out how they work.
This year, I hope to add much more
features to the website and making it
easier for the future Historians to
maintain it.
My name is Debra and, as someone once told me, I must love school. I have a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Humanities/Literature and am now doing my prerequisites for pharmacy. Though the switch from arts to science has occasionally been tough, this is the first time I’ve ever gone to school without also working full-time so I am really enjoying it.
From 1995-2007, my husband and I lived in Tokyo, Japan, where we both taught at university. We came back to the states in Jan. 2008 (with a kid that we picked up along the way) so that I could pursue a pharmacy degree. After 13 years in the largest metropolitan area in the world, our dream is to live in rural New Mexico.
As the APhA-ASP member-at-large, I hope to help connect you to resources and information that will help you in your pursuit of a career in pharmacy.
